HPMC FELICITAS

HPMC Felicitas is the newest addition to our broodmares at Bridlewood Farm. She was bred by Isabel and Jörg Clasen, Germany. Jörg Clasen is the son of well-known breeder Jurgen Clasen.

Felicitas, along with her dam and grand dam, won the mare family class at the large Verden Mare Show. Felicitas received an overall score of 8 at her mare inspection. Highlights of her scores, none lower than 7, were 8s for Type, Elasticity and Swing, Walk, Neck and Saddle Position. During her Mare Performance Test, she received an overall score of 7.92. The test rider gave her a 9 for rideability. SPS Felicitas recieved Premium Candidate status and the distinguished 1A Prize. Following her importation to the U.S. by rider Kathy Priest, Felicitas was shown up to Third Level, and was High Score Open Third Level Reserve Champion her first time out at the large Kentucky Dressage Association show in Lexington, KY.

ABOUT HER BLOODLINES

HPMC Felicitas was sired by Leatherdale Farms’ First Dance, currently standing at Bridlewood Farm. Visit his stallion page here. Her dam is SPS Laetitia, a very elegant mare by Londontime, the top seller of the Verden auction. During her Mare Performance Test, SPS Laetitia received a 9.5 from the test rider and showed her three excellent gaits ( 9.0 8.5 8.5). SPS Laetitia went on to become a successful riding horse and broodmare. She was imported to the U.S. where she was shown with great success through Fourth Level by a junior rider.
